It is not only a seaside village that retains its color and picturesqueness, but a verdant region of particular interest. Being invisible from the beach,it was built in such a way as not to be approachable by pirates. From thatperiod until 1970, it was isolated from the rest of Greece, as there was noroad network. The resort, with the pebbled beaches, the picturesquesettlements, like Paralia and Metropolis, and its sights, has become anattractive international tourist destination. Kyparissi was loved for its“silent” hospitality by several celebrities, such as Princess Diana, the Bushfamily and others.
